Here are a few quick facts about me:
I have been working in Communications and Marketing roles across corporate and non-profit spaces for almost a decade. I enjoy the blend of creativity, problem solving, critical thinking and cross-functional collaboration that a day on the job brings, and would love to mentor and lead a team forward as a manager.
I am passionate about lifelong learning and feeding the mind, both on and off the clock. I am constantly consuming books, trying new activities, or researching ways to hone my technical skills in various programs.
I am the person on the team that always provides a safe space for open communication and loves to make others smile to brighten the day. I enjoy encouraging the success of others as much as my own.
Nature is my happy place, and I love being outdoors in my spare time (or relishing a quiet night in with a good show!) I also enjoy travelling with my husband, embracing different cultures, and chatting with locals abroad. Hearing their stories always brings me joy and a new outlook.

I believe all people on a team should operate on a human-to-human approach. As each individual life has its own set of challenges, I like to handle situations with understanding, empathy and kindness and make sure my peers feel comfortable and included. An added perk - we all produce better results and enjoy our work more when we feel valued and seen.
I like to be purposeful and intentional with my work and relationships with others, rather than running on autopilot or being reactive to circumstances. When it comes to work, high-quality comes with added care.
I am committed to learning and development as an ongoing process - not just for myself, but also by encouraging others to try new opportunities or activities.
In both my work as a communicator and as a human being, I believe in being genuine through our words and actions. Communications that are transparent, understanding and honest are always the most effective and authentic.
While I have a process-oriented approach to my work, I strive to keep a creative mindset in the work that I do. I love to try new things and ideas with my team to boost engagement and results.
